Youth Voice and Engagement

These safeguarding courses are for anyone who holds a role voluntary or paid within your organisation where they do or may come into contact with children and young people. This training will develop an understanding of safeguarding children and young people making sure you have up-to-date knowledge of key of safeguarding policies, legislation and guidance and how you can reduce the risk.

 

The scenarios and discussions on this course are tailored to your origination needs and experiences of safeguarding. Prior to the course we discussion your worries, concerns, experiences and gaps in terms of safeguarding within your organisation so the course is relevant to your day-to-day delivery.

This CPD Youth Engagement course is for anyone who holds a voluntary or paid role where they wish work with young people aged 11-21. 

 

The training will develop an understanding of how to work differently with young people in your organisation. It will ensure you learn how to embed youth voice strategically at the heart and start of your delivery and development.  It will enable you to understand the principles of Codesign using the Laura Lundy Model of good practice and explore how to translate this into practice. 

 

The scenarios and discussions on this course will help you to identify your strengths and where you can improve your youth engagement including the resources and tools you have available to you to support this type of work.  

This course is suitable for any individual, organisation or business who would like a greater understanding of Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) including awareness of a range of neurodivergent conditions. 

 

You will have the opportunity to reflect on how your organisation can be more inclusive as well as learning new skills to become more confident when working with those who are neurodivergent as clients or employees. 

 

Our course will inspire and enable you and your organisation to try new approaches and think differently in terms of creating a positive work environment where neurodivergent individuals feel valued and enable to contribute their unique perspectives.
